Hey everyone, I hope you guys had a great weekend! We had a super busy weekend here in Charleston with work events, a retirement ceremony and even a wedding. Some how between all the chaos I managed to squeeze in a little bit of shopping with my two year old by my side!
Here in South Carolina there is sales tax on just about everything.. yes, clothes too! Unfortunate, right? It's truly one thing I miss about being in Pennsylvania! Every time we visit our families, we do a major shop to take advantage of no sales tax. However, once or twice a year the state of SC holds a "tax free" weekend with super huge sales! So I did what most girls do best, shopped until I dropped...or more like shopped until I had to football carry / drag Sophia out of the stores. Moms, can you relate?
Some Toddler Shopping Tips: I love to buy statement pieces like little jackets, vests or unique shoes or sandals because you can mix and match them with almost anything plain or basic on top or underneath!
I'm obsessed with the colors in the outfit, and I think the little denim vest is so versatile with other outfits. We already had these lace up gladiators from Old Navy but I thought they went perfect with look. Who says you can't wear sandals in the fall? They are also still available online. Link posted below.
