National S'mores Day || You're going to want S'more of this!

Guys, Happy National S'more Day!

 

In honor of this awesome holiday, tonight I will share with you what we made for dessert! This may be the coolest national holiday ever... well besides National Donut Day!  I don't know if I've ever had as much fun as I did tonight making a dessert, so I figured it was TOTALLY worth sharing! Sophia told me it was the best dessert she ever had. If she approves, all is well in this world!  

 

 

 

I was really in the experimenting mood today, so when I went to the store I bought any and everything that could make up ingredients of S'mores - Marshmallows (mini & large), Hershey's Chocolate Bars, Hershey Syrup, Graham Crackers, whipped cream, marshmallow fluff, you name it, I got it! And this is what I came up with... What do you think!? 

 

 

S'mores Crispy Treats 

 

So I made your typical Rice Crispy Recipe (can be found the box of Rice Crispy Cereal) but deviated with my own ideas. I crushed up graham crackers and added them to the cereal. After I was finished with my batch added chunks of Hershey Chocolate bars and mini marshmallows on top! I was a little skeptical about adding the graham cracker into the treat, but they turned out amazing! 

 

 

 

 

 

S'more Milkshakes with Hershey Chocolate and Graham Cracker Rim 

 

In case the S'more Crispy Treats weren't enough, I made milkshakes too! These were out of this world. I searched high and low for marshmallow ice cream but couldn't find it anywhere, so I took it upon myself to make my own! 

 

In a blender I added a little bit of milk 3 scoops of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and a heaping tablespoon of marshmallow fluff. I used Hershey Syrup on the inside of a ball jar to add a little hint of chocolate to the shake. I added a Hershey's Chocolate rim dipped in crushed graham cracker, topped with whipped cream and garnished with toasted marshmallow, graham crumbs and chocolate! 

 

YUM!
