FRIDAY || Watermelon Cucumber Spritzers

Happy Friday friends!

It's that time again... the weekend! Shall we celebrate with a new cocktail recipe? I think so!

This recipe is so simple, super refreshing and tastes so good! I looked up a lot of drink ideas online, but I don't like all of the extra (excuse my language) crap and sugars that are put in most cocktails. So I found a few ideas, mixed them all together and came up with my own drink. I think you'll love it!

(Serves 2)

Handful of fresh mint leaves

2-3 limes

1 watermelon

1/2 English cucumber ( I prefer this kind)

3 oz. Pinacle Cucumber Watermelon Vodka

1 bottle Sparkling Water ( I used San Pellegrino)

White or Raw Sugar for Rim garnish

Using a blender, purée half a cup of diced watermelon and separately purée cucumber. Set these in the fridge to chill while prepping the rest of the cocktail. Muddle fresh mint and place in the bottom of glasses.

Wet the rim of glass with water. Dip in white or raw sugar. Place ice in glass.

Add 3 ounces of Pinacle Cucumber Watermelon Vodka and puréed watermelon and cucumber in a metal shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Pour over ice until glasses are 3:4 full. Top the rest of glass with San Pellegrino (sparkling water). Sqeeze fresh lime over top of drinks. Garnish with sliced watermelon, lime and mint leaves! Enjoy and toast to the weekend!

I want to wish everyone reading a great weekend! I will be enjoying the weekend with my family and back to the blog on Monday! See you then!
